No. RUEZALS Chat is built for desktop and laptop. Phones, tablets and consoles are not supported, on purpose.

Registration is open. Choose a permanent username, then the same AskRue questions as sign-in. You then choose a permanent username, add your email, a password and your date of birth, accept the Terms, Privacy Policy and Acceptable Use Policy. An authenticator code for AskRue™ is optional extra security you can turn on now or later.

Pick the language you read in from the room’s language picker (it starts from your browser’s language). Each message is translated once for every language being read in the room, and you can click a translated line to see the original. Names, @mentions, links, numbers, emotes and emoji are left as written. If translation is slow, the message arrives in the original rather than waiting.

Drag files onto the room, use the file picker, or paste a screenshot. Up to 5 files at once: images (PNG, JPG, GIF, WebP), PDF and DOCX up to 12 MB each; Markdown (.md) and text (.txt) up to 1 MB. SVG and HTML are refused, uploads are limited to 10 a minute, and guests can’t upload.

An uploaded .md file shows as a formatted, sanitized card. Text you type in chat stays plain text. Animated GIFs are kept as the original file, so they stay animated.

A friend is someone you follow who follows you back (use Add Friend or Follow back on a profile). Your personal room door can be unlocked, friends-only or locked. Instant messages open from a profile or the avatar menu.

Choose Login in the top bar. It opens the house sign-in door at ruezals.chat. Type your house username and password; if 2-step is on, add the 6-digit code from your authenticator app.

A Time-based One-Time Password: a 6-digit code from an authenticator app that changes every 30 seconds. With it on, someone who learns your password still can’t sign in.

No. Your username is permanent; it is your house name. It is not your email address.

If you see “Session expired,” sign in again. Keep your email/password safe. Daily security rotation may ask everyone to refresh around early morning.

Forgot password? On the password step, choose Forgot password?, enter the email on your account, and check your inbox for Reset Your Password.

Locked out from mistyped passwords? The gate offers Email me unlock / reset links. Check the email on your account for Unlock Your Password Lockout — both links clear the lockout; one also lets you set a new password. Save AskRue™ backup codes when you hook your authenticator. If you lose your authenticator (no backups), use Contact Us — include your username and the email on the account. AskRue™ never asks you to scan a QR from email or DM.

No. AskRue™ never asks you to scan a code from email or a direct message. Treat any such request as a scam.

Everyone can gather at the table. Chat history for shared rooms stays in the house database. If a shared room sits empty for about an hour, we only clear temporary memory — your history is still there when people return.

The moderators’ room. Members can see it on the room rail, but only moderators on Veil’Doxik duty can enter.

Personal rooms keep a live session while someone is still part of that visit. If one person logs out, the other can still see the chat. When the session ends (both gone / last logout) we wait 5 minutes (crash grace), then archive and clear the live log so the room is clean again.

Dress your room with an uploaded image — PNG, JPG, or GIF. Max about 2000px wide (we resize) and 500 KB after compress. No web pages or random HTML as backgrounds.

Open your profile and choose from the 32 preset avatars. Change it any time.

Moderators can post images in shared rooms where allowed. Formats: PNG, JPG, GIF, WebP.

In shared rooms, posting links and images is for moderators and members who have been given permission. In your own room, group rooms and instant messages you can share freely. When a link or picture is staged on the dining hearth, the room sees a still snapshot of the page, not a live visit.

You can report from someone’s profile or the avatar menu. Reports are reviewed. Falsifying reports or gaslighting to misuse the system can get you reprimanded (mutes / suspensions). Play fair — evidence matters; abuse of Report does not.

Dining hearth three-report brake: Three reports in that moment on the same staged share must come from three separate users. Reports from the same IP count as one vote unless the reporter is an enterprise entity. Intake is by email plus a hold folder; both are purged after review. Staff are alerted through the in-app / on-site support panel (no public mailbox). If a person is liable, a lawful LE/authority request receives that user’s report history only. That is a house brake, not a court.

Only house-safe letters and punctuation are allowed in chat. Odd symbols, scripts, and invisible characters become a box (□). Flooding or injection attempts earn a warning, then a 168-hour chat ban.

Named family members (Ani, Aether, Chees, and others) are AI personas, not real people — see Terms (AI personas). They do not converse with general members; they respond only to house operators at Rue level and above. Presence in a room is visible, not a chat invitation. Some operator tools use slash names (other operator aliases); that does not mean an AI persona will answer you in chat.

RUEZALS.chat (this house) is 18+. Date of birth is collected at signup. A Dhraconyx overlay seat does not let anyone under 18 into this chat.

Dhraconyx (the overlay) is a separate product surface. Its product terms are separate — see Terms § B and dhraconyx.world/terms.

Dhraconyx is a screen overlay: you place a box over part of a window; it can OCR, translate across 82 languages, with more coming soon , and (optionally) use Talk speech-to-text. It does not open other programs or read other process memory. Without an activation key or unlocked seat, it captures nothing. Chat retention rules do not apply to overlay Translate/Read/Talk text (those are not kept as conversation records).

Account = licensee; a seat is one computer. Licensee may assign seats under their licence; farming trials and resale are not allowed.

Payments: Stripe live commercial billing in US dollars (USD). A real card is charged. Failed payment locks the translator. Full commercial detail: Terms § B and dhraconyx.world/terms.

Create an account and open Dhraconyx to begin a three-day Scout Tier trial. One trial per account. The trial seat is final — reinstalls on the same computer do not reset it (no rebuild forgiveness).

A refund is available only within 24 hours of the paid charge. After that there is no refund. You may still cancel anytime (access continues through the end of the paid period). The 72-hour trial and 24-hour refund are separate clocks.

Cancel anytime from the app: open the Account tab → Cancel subscription, confirm in the app, then finish on the cancel page at dhraconyx.world/cancel/.

• Access continues until the end of the paid period; remaining time is not refunded.
• You can cancel the Meme Generator add-on alone (Scout Tier/Ranger Tier) and keep the base plan; canceling the subscription also ends meme access at period end.
• If you have more than one licence or seat, the cancel page lets you choose which to cancel or which seat to release.
